Exploring!

On Monday I was able to practice my exploring in clinic and it went so much better than probing! I worked on Jenny and I was much more comfortable than before. I practiced grasping the explorer a little lighter and getting the right angulation on the tooth surface. Sometimes it is hard to stay parallel with the tooth surface, but I was getting the hang out it towards the end. I found the anteriors to be the easier surfaces to explore. I am so glad that I bought the loupes because they make such a big difference! I have a lot more practicing to do, but so far I have stayed caught up and help really grasped what we have covered so far. Let's just hope that after today I can get caught up for Monday's clinic, which I will miss because of golf. I am leaving for Colorado on Saturday!
