My head is going to explode!

Oh my! Today was a crazy day in radiology and clinic! I passed off 3 PEs in radiology and was continually doint something productive. There may have been a little tension in the lab ha ha because everyone had so much to get done. I probed for the first time today in clinic and it is a lot harder than i thought! It is so hard to be gentle and to get the right angle. Burke was my patient and it seemed that I was constantly hurting his gums. I was his patient as well and let's just say my gums are going to be pretty sore the next few weeks as we continue to practice. I practiced with some loops and it makes all the difference in the world! Mine will be in hopefully by next Monday and I am super excited:) The magnification made the probing so much easier to see and less stressful on my back and neck. They cost me $420 but it is so worth the price because they will last me a long time. I need a lot more practice with the angulation on my probing, but I am excited to get practicing and hopefully by my first patient I will have it down pretty well.
