Mastering PE's! August 31

My goal for the day was to master a couple PE's so that I can pass them off to an instructor. I have eaglesoft down and now my goal is to get the personal protective equipment PE and the set up and clean up PE's. We had a lot of practive time to make sure we knew the order and procedures neccessary before and after patient care. I feel a lot more comfortable with the procedures including sterilization, cleaning, and preparation. I love that my career is so hands on and so I have enjoyed every minute of it. My goal for the semester is to make sure that I am very comfortable with all the PE's so that when I start with patients I am not worried about these procedures. I am glad we are taking it slow so that we can feel comfortable with these skills before actually jumping into intraoral care. It has been great to work with Professor Costley and the other instructors so that I can make sure that I am doing everything appropriately.
