I got to actually practive on the typodont!

Today in clinic was one of my favorites thus far because we spent a lot of time in the typodont. We went over chair positioning and intra oral positioning while scaling. It was great to spend a lot of time in the chair and feel what it is like to be in someone's mouth. I passed off two PEs, which allows me to get a little ahead for the days when I will be gone for golf tournaments. I love how this profession is so hands on and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I feel a lot more comfortable with the proceedures here in clinic, but the one thing I need to get more acquainted with are the health histories and treatment plans for patients. This will take some practice, but time will allow me to be more confident. I love learning and so far I have learned so much!
