My grandma
Clinic on Monday went really well and I learned a ton! I was able to do 6 PAs and 2 bitewings on my grandma, but she was a class 5. I was hoping she was a 3, but i am glad that she is taking care of her teeth. She was difficult to chart because she has a couple bridges and some fillings, but she was easier than I thought to clean. She can't swallow because of her feeding tube and so I didn't use the ultrasonic. I have had a lot of practice with handscaling and feel that I have improved so much. It was great to treat my grandma and to see a patient that takes care of their mouth, even though she doesn't eat food. I am looking forward to getting a class 3...which is what I need!
