Well in Monday's clinic we learned how to do the ultrasonic...which right now I am not a huge fan of. Since there wasn't much calculus to get off, it was almost pointless to use it. It kept getting water eveywhere, but I know that it will come in handy when I have perio patients. I passed off a couple PEs but I almost didn't pass my OHI PE. I need to keep reviewing the process of getting perio and know how to explain that to my patients. Overall it wasn't stressul, but I am looking forward to my second year observation so that I can better understand the order of things. I have understood everything thus far, I just need some more practice scaling before my next patient.
