FULL DAY!

Today was a full day of clinic and this morning was the worst clinic day all semester. It is ironic how one clinic session can be so terrible and then the afternoon can be so relaxing. I had a class 3 that was very tenacious in his calculus. Everything was burnished and so it was hard! I missed about 20 spots...I have never missed that much! It was aweful...when he comes in next week I think I am going to try to give him anaesthetic so that I don't have to worry about hurting him. But at least I found my class 3 right? ha ha I was very frustrated...but I am glad my patient this afternoon was very easy. I still feel that it is hard to feel calculus, especially if it is griddy. I sometimes think that it is just the cementum. Well at least now I can just focus on improving my technique...I don't want to have to worry about time. I was so exhausted by lunch, but by the end of the day it's not too bad.
